About WarSignal

WarSignal is an independent conflict intelligence platform that aggregates, verifies, and visualizes war-related events from multiple sources in real time. We believe that access to accurate, timely conflict information should be transparent and free.

Our Mission

In times of conflict, misinformation spreads faster than facts. Social media amplifies unverified claims, state media pushes narratives, and the truth gets lost in the noise. WarSignal exists to cut through that noise.

We built an automated intelligence pipeline that collects reports from dozens of independent sources — wire services like Reuters and AP, OSINT analysts, local reporters, and satellite data providers. These reports are clustered by event, cross-referenced for consistency, and only published when multiple independent sources confirm the same facts.

Our live map visualizes verified events geospatially, giving analysts, journalists, and the public a real-time view of what is happening on the ground — backed by evidence, not speculation.

Editorial Principles

Accuracy Over Speed

We never publish unverified claims as facts. Every event goes through our multi-tier verification pipeline before being marked as corroborated.

Full Transparency

Every data point shows its sources, verification status, and confidence level. We show our work so readers can evaluate the evidence themselves.

Multi-Source Aggregation

We aggregate from wire services, OSINT analysts, local reporters, and satellite data. No single source controls our narrative.

Editorial Independence

WarSignal has no political affiliation. We report verified facts from all sides of a conflict without editorial bias or advocacy.

Corrections Policy

When an event is later found to be inaccurate, we issue a visible correction on the event page, update its verification status, and add an editorial note explaining the change. The original reports remain accessible for transparency. We do not silently delete or alter published information.
