Iran said Monday it had held its first meeting with Oman on managing the Strait of Hormuz since it signed a preliminary deal to end the Middle East war with the United States. Speaking with FRANCE 24's Mark Owen, Barbara Slavin, Distinguished Fellow at the Stimson Center in Washington, says that "the United States is trying to establish the old rules of the road in the Strait of Hormuz and Iran has made it very clear that there are new rules".
