Russia Expresses Deep Concern Over Lebanon Instability, Calls for Dialogue

In a meeting in Moscow, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Georgy Borisenko voiced Russia’s deep concern about the growing instability in Lebanon. He met with Lebanon’s ambassador to Russia, Bashir Chauki Saleh Azzam, to discuss the development of Russian‑Lebanese relations.

Borisenko highlighted the need for cooperation to address the security challenges facing Lebanon and emphasized Russia’s willingness to support diplomatic efforts. The ambassador echoed Russia’s concerns and reiterated Lebanon’s commitment to maintaining stability while engaging with international partners.
