At about 3:20 a.m. Moscow time, Russian air‑defence and intelligence units reported a group of six unmanned aerial vehicles entering Latvian airspace and approaching the vicinity of St. Petersburg.
The aircraft were identified as Ukrainian drones, and Russian authorities warned that the drones were targeting civilian infrastructure near the Russian capital.
